72nd Republic Day
72nd Republic Day
FIA San Diego celebrated the 72nd Republic Day of India virtually on January 26, 2021. The maximum number of attendees allowed by Zoom reached quickly, and many people were disappointed as they couldn’t join in. We extend our gratitude to all our patrons for their overwhelming support. We had some technical problems with regard to audio-video. Nonetheless, the show went very well. Team FIA has been receiving a lot of compliments for putting up a delightful show. Please enjoy it.
We have gone through a long period of sufferings caused by Covid-19. But we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. The vaccine has arrived; we wish you all a good health and safety.
The monster cannot stop us from celebrating our beloved motherland India. We are celebrating the 72nd Republic Day of India virtually on Tuesday, January 26 at 11:30 AM. Mr. Todd Gloria, Mayor of San Diego and Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad, Consul General of India, San Francisco will join us as our special guests. A fun-filled cultural program will be presented at this occasion which you don’t want to miss. Please join us on Zoom on 26th Jan at 11:30 AM sharp (Pacific Time).

74th Independence Day
Federation of Indian Associations San Diego has presented a cultural show to celebrate India’s Independence Day every year for decades. As the world is going through a pandemic we cannot organize a live show. But, how can we skip remembering our motherland on the most important day in the history of India? FIASD will, therefore, celebrate the 74th Independence Day of India via video. You will certainly enjoy this short video prepared with the clips of the music and dance performances from our past shows. Please click on the video thumbnail above on 15th August, 2020 at 9 AM (PST) and join us to celebrate the glory of India. The live chat option will be open during the premiere at 9 AM. You can also watch the video anytime after 15th August. Your comments are most welcome.
